VU1 Corporation has sought out several Chinese suppliers of glass as new raw material glass suppliers.
VU1 is interested in the possible use of glass for use as bulbs for a new VU1 lighting product.
See attached bulb drawing.
VU1 needs either a glass that has a composition containing:
a) Barium Boro-silicate glass
b) Barium Potash-Soda glass
We are seeking out glass manufacturers that can produce a glass with:
1) a high CTE (90-95) glass
2) and a Barium / Strontium / Bismuth / Zn content of 10-14% Wt.
We would request technical information to allow for the evaluation of glass physical characteristics
Density
CTE = coefficient of thermal expansion from 0 C to 300 C
Young's modulus
Annealing temperature point
Strain temperature point
Softening temperature point (need ~ 650-700 C)
Working temperature point
Refractive index
Dielectric Strength
Loss Tangent
