According to the provisions of “Mexico Customs Laws”, free trade zones enjoy the following preferential conditions: The imported products which aren’t similar with Mexico products can be free of import taxes, and only paid with value-added tax of 6%. If the processing enterprises in the zones temporarily import raw materials, parts packaging materials, machinery, equipments, apparatus, mould, durable tools etc for producing export commodities, they are tax-exempt.
