China Glass 2015 in Beijing

In the year 2015, the Chinese Government will further quicken the pace to shut down outdated production facilities and strengthen energy conservation and emission reduction in the glass industry, so as to promote the structural adjustment and industrial transform and upgrading, which will set forth new requirements to the glass industry in such aspects as optimization of war materials, improvement of technical process and equipment, quality raise and diversification of glass products, smart operation, energy conservation and emission reduction. The China Glass Exhibition, as the major demonstration platform for the international glass industry, will provide more commercial opportunities not only for internationalized companies equipped with advanced technology, but also for medium- and small-sized specialized enterprises.

China Glass 2015 will be staged at the China International Exhibition Center (new venue) in Beijing. Since its first operation in 2008, hundreds of well-known fairs and expositions have been held at this exhibition site. During the past six years, the Exhibition Center has evidently upgrade its services and with constant improvement of the subsidiary facilities, its exhibitors and visitors will have a better and more convenient environment.

China Glass 2015 is expected to have the exhibition area up to 90,000 square meters and more.

Review of China Glass 2014 in Shanghai

The 25th China Glass was successfully held in Shanghai New International Expo Centre from 14 to 17 April 2014. The exhibiting area was over 80000 square meters. Main exhibitors worldwide jumped at participating in the event and a total of the exhibitors were up to 821 companies who came from 27 countries and regions. During 4 days of the event, 38000 visitors in total were admitted and there were no lack of individual buyers & buyers' groups among them for products and machines. With the event questionnaire, the exhibitors and visitors expressed certain satisfaction at the event. As the event’s theme were “technical innovation, energy conversation and environmental protection”, some of local & oversees exhibitors demonstrated the technology and equipment on saving energy, exhausting SO2 and NOx and recycling waste-heat in glass production and others demonstrated the technology and equipment to produce photovoltaic glass, smart glass and coated glass in building industry. This event almost reflected the current situation and level of glass technology development and the prospect of global glass industry in future..

(1) Various Glass Products and Application

Architectural and decoration glass; Fenestration and hardware fittings; automobile glass and industrial glass; hollow glassware and glass containers; electric lighting glass and special glass.

(2) Various Production Lines and Machines for Float Flat Glass and Container Glass

Batch weighing and mixing systems;furnace charging, melting, homogenizing, combustion, boosting, bubbling system and related technology; color/flint glass forehearth and annealing lehrs and decorating lehrs etc; various forming and cold-end processing equipment including flat glass washing, cutting, edging, beveling machines and inspection system; the I.S. machine for variety bottles and the glassware forming machines including gob feeder, pressing, blowing, burn-off, crack-off, rim toughing and rim polishing machines; quality inspection system and measurement, transportation and automatic control systems for raw materials, semi-finished and finished products; environmental protection and multi-purpose utilization.

(3) Equipment for Processing Glass

Various pre-processing machines for flat/ bending glass including cutting, grinding, beveling, polishing, drilling, engraving, washing/drying and auxiliary facilities and related tools; flat glass processing machines including  tempering,  laminating, decorating, coating, insulating, mirror-making, sand-blasting and processing of doors and windows.

(4) Special Glass and Process Equipment

TV glass; STN and TFT ultra thin glass substrate and their precision cutting and beveling machines; low-E coated glass and its online coating machine; Pattern glass and wired glass and rolling machine with a wired feeder; self-cleaning glass, antibacterial glass, fire-proof glass, LED glass and related processing machines and technology.

(5) Solar Glass and Process Equipment

Photovoltaic glass and machines, solar PVB thin film for photovoltaic glass, PV module, photo-active coating, vacuum laminator, roll laminator/autoclave system, vacuum bag/autoclave, thin film cell technology, crystalline cell module technology, solar glass panel, measuring and testing technology/software.

(6) Refractories, Raw Materials and Subsidiary Materials

Various high-grade refractories including electro fused refractories, sintered refractories and silicon brick, a complete AZS brick, superstructure block, suspended wall system for doghouse feeder, curtain wall, thermocouple brick, repair blocks, waist, shadow walls, canal, tweels, flat arches, cover tiles, lift rolls, lehr rolls, spouts, orifice rings, plungers, fired alumino-silicate brick, port brick, tin bach brick and so on.
