After the success obtained at the previous edition, VTE (Vacuum Tech &Coating Expo), the 2nd international exhibition dedicated to vacuum and coating technologies, will be back at Fiera Milano from 25 to 28 November 2008 during HTE - HI.TECH.EXPO 2008.
VTE 2008 represents the best occasion to find out about the most advanced and sophisticated technological applications of the sector: machinery, equipment, systems and components, raw- and processing materials, engineering plants, monitoring and control systems and instruments, repairs and second-hand plants, consultancy, services and software. During the fair, numerous conferences will also be held.

Characteristics of the manifestation
As its name says, this special exhibition will be dedicated to vacuum and coating technologies and will regard all aspects and materials of these sectors. VACUUM TECH AND COATING EXPO 2008 is thus dedicated to manufacturers of machinery, equipment, technology and products, and, during the exhibition, there will also be a series of conferences with papers presented by specialists.
This first edition of VACUUM TECH AND COATING EXPO 2008 will be organized in Milan, northern Italy, in conjunction with the Vitrum trade fair, and will be hosted by the New Exhibition Centre of Milan, which was inaugurated in 2005, and is one of the largest, most functional, and innovative areas as far as architectural aspects are concerned.
VACUUM TECH AND COATING EXPO 2008 will, therefore, be the perfect occasion to meet, trade, obtain and exchange updated information regarding the sector.
HTE-HI.TECH.EXPO 2008
HTE-HI.TECH.EXPO 2008 is an innovative and absolutely original event for the sector. It is the first time in Italy that a specialized event dedicated to the most promising and advanced technologies - photovoltaics, vacuum and coating technologies, lasers, photonics and optoelectronics, nanotechnologies, as well as hydrogen and fuel cells - will be held. In a single date, five synergic and specialized fairs will show the best offer from the national and international industry with regards to plants, machinery, technologies, equipment and services in areas that represent an important opportunity of development for the near future of applied research and contemporary industry.
Manufacturing machinery area discount
In order to promote the displaying of machinery at the stands, and for the first time in Italy, a further special discount of 50 Euro/ sq.m. will be granted to companies exhibiting manufacturing and processing machines and equipment (see contract).
Therefore, this second edition of VTE will be even more interesting for the vacuum and coating technology suppliers!
Courses and workshop
Numerous appointments with specialists of the sector and authorities will help to focus on both the European and worldwide sector. During the show, there will be seminars, and workshops of company presentations.
