Detail Information:
Butyl sealant
Characteristics:
Butyl sealant is the single-component, hot-melt sealant, made from the raw materials butyl rubber and polyethylene. The product possesses great sealing properties with the common insulating glass materials, such as glass and aluminum; Butyl sealant can keep a long application life for insulating glass systems based on the low moisture penetration chance.
Butyl sealant is a non-chemical reactive, no harm to human and environment. It is therefore considered as a green product.
● One component, solvent free, non-fogging, permanently plastic butyl sealant, formulated for primary sealing of insulating glass units.
● It can keep its plastic and sealing properties in a wide temperature range.
● Excellent adhesion properties on glass, aluminum alloy, galvanized steel and stainless steel.
● Minimum moisture vapour and gas permeation.
