Merefa Glass Works was founded in 1896 to ensure glass medical Artemovsky distillery. In 2006, the territory of the glass-factory was begun construction of a new glass factory. In early 2008, was launched Glassmaking furnace capacity of 265 tons of glass per day, in March, completed installation of production lines pressovyduvaniya and annealing capacity of 800 thousand bottles every day. The plant produces products for technology NNPB-process. As a result, the opening of the plant was created 550 jobs.
