Environmental Organization "Small Earth" has sent letters to companies engaged in manufacturing window of products in Dushanbe with the proposal to introduce energy-efficient low-emission glass in their products. According to Project Coordinator for Energy Conservation "Small Earth" Faridun Bazarov, several companies have already expressed an interest in these glasses, and promised to contact the manufacturers of low-emission glass in Kazakhstan.
"If at least one firm decides to import and use the glass in their windows, we can consider this an important step in its work on energy efficiency," - he said.
Bazarov added that the letter directed to local companies for the production of window products, it is noted that the introduction of these glasses will not only expand the range of firms, but also play a significant role in energy conservation, both in the capital and in other regions.
Currently, double-glazed windows with such glasses are widely distributed in European countries. In recent years, they find their application in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and other former Soviet republics.
