Recently ended Glasstec and Solarpeq showed a big demand for high sophisticated glass forming machines for the cover glass of PV-modules – so-called low iron Solar Glass with high transmission rates.
German based company RUREX-Stahl as major and world leading manufacturer of these machines benefits from this boom. Having supplied major glass producers like ASAHI, SAINT GOBAIN, PILKINGTON, GUARDIAN, SISECAM and CSG with Solar Glass machines in the past years – Chinese PV-panel producers are now ordering these machines for their 2nd and 3rd projects.
Starting with 2 lines in 1 furnace 2-3 years ago, the next Solar Glass plants are designed with 5 lines fed by 1 furnace producing around 750 tons of Solar Glass a day.
The reliability, after sales service and the high level of research and development of RUREX equipment with NON-STOP production campaigns of more than 90 days makes it first choice for PV-glass producers worldwide.
In the last 3 years RUREX has doubled its annual turnover and production capacity by investing in a new production site and manpower.
The next boom for photovoltaic industry is expected in India. The first PV-glass plant already produces in the state of Gujarat with a high quality and tailor made RUREX-machine
