Float glass opportunity knocks at Gulf Glass

Post Time:Nov 15,2010Classify:Company NewsView:440

Exhibition stand bookings by two of the Middle East’s leading float glass manufacturers, namely Emirates Float Glass and Arabian Float Glass, have once again reinforced the growing importance of the Gulf Glass exhibition series as a place where “business gets done”.

We are clearly seeing a rise in the amount of float glass interest for next year’s show” says Derek Burston, exhibition manager, “and it is certainly the case that Abu Dhabi’s growing importance as a glass processing centre means that the demand for the product is continuing to rise”.

With over 3,000 visitors expected during the 3 day event, all of whom will have a focused approach to sourcing from and into the Middle East, the 4th Gulf Glass exhibition represents an unique opportunity for producers of high quality float glass to access regional glass processors in one go.

There are relatively few float glass options in the immediate region” added Burston “and it is clear that the likes of Emirates and Arabian Float are keen to continue their brand-building in the region to ensure they.

With visitors recorded from over 43 countries at the last show – in 2009 – next year’s event looks set to attract visitors from an even greater spread.

It is not just the immediate Middle East that gravitates towards Abu Dhabi” says Burston, “as we have had a much greater number of visitor registrations from Northern and Eastern Africa, India and the likes of Iran and Pakistan this time round. With still around 4 months to go, we fully expect momentum to keep building and making the event the largest of its kind in the entire Middle East”

The resurgent glass industries of the MENA and Gulf regions means that next year’s 4th Gulf Glass exhibition (7-9 March, Abu Dhabi), is well placed to once again provide the perfect platform for business across all aspects of the Middle East’s flat, processed and container glass industries.

With space reservations now in excess of 1,500 sq metres, the largest, dedicated glass show for the region is well placed to sell out well in advance of the end of this year.
