Taiwan Glass Group Inspects Hanzhong City of ShaanXi Province

(China Glass Network) Recently, Taiwan Glass Group visited Hanzhong City of ShaanXi Province to inspect quartz mineral resources. Leaders of Hanzhong City gave a warm reception to the inspection team.

Inspection team came to the quartz mineral district of Chenggu County. They kept a deep understanding about the amount of mineral resource, component of mineral, rights and exploration and economic benefits.

After that, they had a discussion about mineral resources. And Taiwan Glass Group would hand on a feasible report of building float glass manufacturing line. At the same time, Hantai District and Chenggu County government would give a strong and hard support to the construction project.

Taiwan Glass Group was established in 1964, which is mainly producing float glass, glass processing, glass fiber, patterned glass, food equipments, and containers, etc. It is the sixth largest glass company in the world. In February 2004, it set up Hanzhong Silicon Sand Company, which is the largest Tanwanese-owned enterprise. It is engaged in quartz mining exploring and processing with an annual capacity of 200,000 tons quartz sand.
