Narendra Modi, Chief Minister of Gujarat visited the Float Glass Plant of Sezal Glass Ltd at Jhagadia, District Bharuch. Narendra Modi congratulated them since this visit marked the full optimal capacity of 550 metric tonnes of float glass in a day thus ensuring the production unit working to its fullest capacity.
During the “Vibrant Gujarat Summit” of 2007, Narendra Modi had encouraged the young management of Sezal Glass Ltd to make investments in Gujarat. The 650 Cr investments is the result of this motivation. He had expressed his desire to have a look at the technologically modern setup created by Sezal team. Company Chairman and Managing Director, Amrrut S Gada and other executive directors took him around the plant. They explained the intricacies of the European technology. He appreciated the highly automated plant for glass manufacturing.
Speaking to the Sezal Glass management team at the end of the tour he mentioned that Sezal’s young entrepreneurs had very long innings ahead of them. He was glad they had returned to Gujarat to invest and make it their “karmabhoomi”. Jhagadia has now become a glass farm due to Sezal Glass Ltd.
