TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:The Australian Anti Dumping Authority has stopped its investigation of the glass dumping practices by Indonesia, China and Thailand it announced on December 20.
The authority said it had stopped the investigation after it concluded that no financial losses were caused in the Australian industry.
Since the investigation began last April 19, the government and businessmen have defended their practices. The results of the investigation showed that the margin of glass dumping by Indonesian companies was between 3.3 to 30.3 percent.
Indonesian glass product exported to Australia in 2008 amounted to US$ 10.6 million, controlling 27.4 percent of the Australian market.
