Harford County’s New Delegates Glass and Szeliga Receive Committee Assignments

Harford County’s newest elected members of the House of Delegates, Kathy Szeliga and Glen Glass, received their assignments today from House Speaker Michael Busch as to which of the six standing committees they would be joining in the Maryland General Assembly in Annapolis.

 

Szeliga, a Republican representing the eastern Baltimore and western Harford County District 7, was chosen for the Appropriations Committee, where she will serve along with Del. Mary-Dulany James – giving Harford County two votes on the important committee.

 

Glass, a Republican representing the southern Harford County District 34A, was assigned to the Ways and Means Committee.

 

The rest of Harford County’s delegation will maintain its current committee assignments, which include:

 

Economic Matters Committee: Del. Rick Impallaria (Republican/District 7) and Del. Donna M. Stifler (Republican/District 35A)

 

Environmental Matters Committee: Del. H. Wayne Norman (Republican/District 35A)

 

Health and Government Operations Committee: Del. Patrick L. McDonough (Republican/District 7)

 

Judiciary Committee: Del. Susan K. McComas (Republican/District 35B)
