Japanese automotive glass processing company Vuteq Corp signed a deal Thursday with local governments to set up a plant in Ohira, Miyagi Prefecture, to supply products to a Toyota Motor Corp subsidiary.
Vuteq will provide windshields and other types of glass components for a nearby plant of Central Motor Co, which began operation earlier this month. The new factory will cost Vuteq about 500 million yen.
