In 1984, Enrique Noriega started “Noriega’s Glass” that became a very popular place for Douglas. Today, his brother Felipe along with wife Victoria and family continue providing the same quality service and more with First Glass.
Noriega expressed “I deal with all the work related with the glass while my wife Victoria and her sister run the administration.”
Felipe Noriega started First Glass in 2004, a year after his brother Enrique decided to stop running Noriega’s Glass. “I like working with glass. I really enjoy my job and if I would have to look for another job certainly it would be something related to glass” Noriega said.
Today, First Glass, located at 1060 15th St., at the same place where everything started offers commercial, residential and auto Glass and it works with windows, safety glass, plexy glass, screens, mirrors, storefronts, insulated units, table tops, shower doors, chip repair and more. Noriega also says that they work with most of the insurance companies when a car needs any kind or repair on window or mirrors.
As an extra service First Glass offers a 24 hour emergency glass and board-up service to meet their customers’ needs. “We have the regular service from Monday to Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and people can call for the regular hour service at 364-2088; but if there’s an emergency with any of the services we offer people can call at 364-9496.” Noriega concluded.
