The Glass Expo Northeast trade show continues to grow and Sage Electrochromics Inc. in Faribault, Minn., is one of the latest exhibitors. Set to take place March 17-18, Glass Expo Northeast will be held at the at the Hyatt Regency Long Island at the Wind Watch Hotel & Golf Club in Hauppauge, N.Y. (Long Island).
SageGlass electronically tintable glazing provides user-operated, dynamic control of solar glare and heat without blocking views. At the push of a button or command from an automated control system, the glass can be tinted to keep out the sun. When desired, the glass can be untinted to allow in as much light as possible. In addition, the products help reduce energy consumption, block glare and increases daylighting potential, reduce fading from ultraviolet and visible light and preserves exterior views.
Glass Expo Northeast is co-sponsored by the Long Island Glass Association, USGlass, DWM and Window Film magazines, and is the region's largest conference and trade show dedicated to the architectural glass and metal industry. In addition to the trade show, it also includes seminars and networking opportunities.
