March 1 – AVIC Sanxin (002163) intends to build the AVIC Sanxin (Fengyang) Special Glass factory in Fengyang Silicon Industrial Park for 3.5 billion yuan, reports p5w.net, citing a company filing.
Construction will be divided into three phrases and is scheduled to start in June 2011 and finish by 2015.
The move is part of the company’s focus on the Yangtze River delta region. Fengyang County is located in Chuzhou City, Anhui Province.
