Edgetech I.G., Cambridge, Ohio, will exhibit at China Glass 2011, May 11-14, at the China International Exhibition Center, Shanghai, booth #389 in hall W1. The company recently enhanced its presence in the region, including the addition of its Web site translated into Chinese, and the appointments of Ranchy Tsui as regional sales manager for all of China and Southeast Asia and Sunny Sun as sales manager for Northeast China, according to a March 22 release.
“As the marketplace in China is evolving toward high-performance fenestration products, we are dedicated to educating the industry and putting the personnel in place to best serve the region,” said Ramsey Bader, director, international sales and marketing, in the release. “We look forward to participating in this year’s China Glass and presenting the many energy-saving benefits and structural integrity of Super Spacer to attendees.”
At China Glass, Edgetech will feature its popular curtain wall testing chamber, which puts Super Spacer TriSeal to the test, simulating wind-speed equivalents of more than 300 mph, demonstrating its structural stability. Attendees also will have an opportunity to speak with Edgetech experts and learn more about automated equipment options and Super Spacer’s ease-of-use in the manufacturing process, even when working with complex shapes or curved glass.
Additionally, Edgetech is a global representative for Sparklike Ltd., Finland, and will feature the following technologies at it China Glass booth:
l Gasglass, a non-invasive technology that enables users to test gas-fill levels of insulating glass without destroying the unit.
l Spyglass, a laser-based gauge for measuring and detecting insulating glass unit structure, coatings and thicknesses.
