THE LATEST exhibition at Arbroath Library is by Edinburgh-based artist Katharine Aarrestad.
Katharine’s technique of reverse painting on glass creates compelling, subtle and disconcerting images.
Katharine studied for her MA in European Fine Art in Barcelona and has a degree in Fine Art from the University of Edinburgh and Edinburgh College of Art.
She has exhibited widely across Scotland, London and internationally. Her work has been critically acclaimed at her recent solo show at Edinburgh’s prestigious gallery Bourne Fine Art as well at the Scottish Society of Artists and Royal Scottish Academy exhibitions.
She has been awarded a number of prizes, including awards at the Nairn Open Art Exhibition and Aberdeen Artists Society.
The exhibition runs until April 23, at Arbroath Library, Hill Terrace, Arbroath. Admission is free.
