Windshield Bending Process Secrets Available

Safety Glass Experts International Ltd offers a possibility to improve your bending process to perfection with a detailed theory training program: The art of gravity bending windshields. This training program is usually only available on contract, however now the industry professionals have a great possibility to join and gain new information from this unique training program by attending our workshop 16th of June in GPD 2011.

The gravity bending process is the most demanding part in the production of laminated windshields and it remains operator dependent craft. Aim of this workshop is to enable the participants to have a better in-depth understanding of the bending process, ability to develop current bending furnace operations with new approach and practical methods, understand and eliminate quality defects, reduce waste and improve repeatability.

Workshop takes the participants through the entire bending process cycle from loading to unloading, explaining each stage in detail, heat controls, basic and advanced actions at each stage, tips how to control geometry and size, introduces basic process variables, and common mistakes.
