·          (China Glass Network) According to the statistics of Fujian Customs, 1018 tons of soda ash is exported in Fujian during Jan. to Mar, which reduced 79% than the same period last year(the same bellow),and the value of it , 24.5 million dollars, reduced 70.4%.The average price for export is $1098 per ton, which rose 41%. It is mainly exported to ASEAN, Bangladesh and China Taiwan, etc. by general trade way.

Due to rapid expansion of production capacity and the decline of demand market, the situation of excess capacity is very serious. “The access conditions of Daily glass industry”, which was put into effect for soda downstream industry on 1ST, March 2011, hammered the market of soda further. Meanwhile the limit of export caused by international trade friction, and the imbalance of the relationship of supply and demand for domestic soda supply made the industry competition environment deteriorating. Influenced by the spreading panic caused by nuked diffusion of Japanese earthquake, the edible salt purchasing climax    appeared in early days ,which lead to the reduce of industrial salt supply in a short time ,and the prices appears certain scope to rise consequently. In addition, driven by the jam in oil price, prices of domestic coal and electric energy are rising steeply. The cost of soda production increases with the price of raw materials up.
