Safelite Auto Glass Joins NABC as a Diamond Level Member

The National Auto Body Council (NABC) announced that Safelite AutoGlass has stepped forward to become a Diamond Level Member, the highest level of NABC corporate sponsorship.

Because it is the nation’s leading provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services, as well as the largest exclusively domestic producer of windshields for the vehicle glass replacement market, Safelite’s involvement in this year’s Recycled Rides — a nationwide community service project where members of NABC repair and donate recycled vehicles to families and service organizations in need in their own communities — seems only natural, according to Safelite.

"We are happy to donate vehicle glass as part of NABC’s Recycled Rides program," said Pete Pearson, senior vice president of client sales and support at Safelite. "It is a win
win program for participating repairers who are building their repair skills and for those families and charitable institutions that receive the refurbished cars."

Safelite’s patronage of NABC does not end with the Recycled Rides initiative, however. The company wished to assist NABC on an even broader scale.

“I was very grateful when I was initially informed that Safelite was interested in helping out on Recycled Rides,” said NABC Executive Director Chuck Sulkala. “Then I ended up being blown away by the fact that they expressed a major interest in NABC’s total effort and direction to improving the image of the industry. It was a very pleasant surprise. We are happy to welcome them to our prestigious Diamond Level family of committed industry partners, and I am excited about our future journey together.”

Safelite is similarly enthusiastic about becoming an NABC Diamond Level member.

“We are honored to be among a prestigious group of other Diamond Sponsors such as, AutoZone, Hertz, Progressive, Allstate and State Farm,” added Pearson. “We look forward to growing this partnership with the National Auto Body Council.”

Diamond
level members allow NABC to bring reasonably priced programs of value to the collision industry, NABC says.
