However, professionals hold the opinion that windows and doors are not only the eye of the buildings ,but the key structure for energy- saving .

Sliding Window is not the best choice for energy-saving

Common types of the windows we use in the building are sliding windows ,casement windows and fixed windows. Structurally , casement windows have obvious advantages over sliding windows . But fixed windows embedded in the walls are excellent in water tightness and air tightness with glass sealed  directly in the frame .

Selection of glass is also important in energy efficiency. Light transmission ,sunlight transmittance heat transfer coefficient and other indictors have great influences on energy consumption  of heating and air condition . Therefore, acknowledge of material, performance and use of energy-saving glass will be a big help in decorating choices.
