DFI Partners with EU Market Leader LiSEC Corporation to Expand Industrial Flexibility

Fully-automated coating machine developed by Austrian supplier LiSEC, will apply DFI coating line for all flat glass processing and finishing products to advance the protective coating options for glass manufacturers.

(DFI Nanotechnology),  global developer and exclusive licensor of patented hydrophobic nanotechnologies, announced today it has partnered with LiSEC Corporation to widen its offering of the DFI Clear-Fusion™ V coating line on LiSEC hydrophobic automatic coating machine, advancing the options for protective coating coverage for all glass manufacturers. Utilizing one of DFI's protective coating lines with the LiSEC automated machinery, glass manufacturers can access an automated coating system to provide another effective method for coating glass, while providing a competitive advantage in the marketplace. DFI's flagship Diamon-Fusion® nanocoating will continue to be available through DFI in both vapor (CVD chamber system) and hand-applied forms thus DFI has positioned its unique product offering with unparalleled industrial flexibility.

The highest quality hydrophobic nano-coatings on the market today, DFI coatings make glass surfaces easier to clean, protecting the glass from hard water stains, soap scum, mold, mildew and other harsh environmental elements, while creating a more hygienic surface, and eliminating the need for harmful cleaning chemicals, so less time is spent cleaning and maintaining a glass surface. In addition, the DFI coating also makes glass surfaces more scratch and impact resistant. DFI coatings can automatically be sprayed onto the surface during the production line process and is ideal for insulated glass units, shower enclosures, solar panels, windshields, glass railings and more.  The LiSEC hydrophobic coating machine is available in three different configurations for varying customer requirements and can easily integrate into existing manufacturing lines.
