PPG Makes Executive Appointments

PPG has named J. Rich Alexander to lead its architectural coatings businesses. He also will assume executive leadership of the Asia Pacific region and will retain responsibility for the company’s fiber glass and flat glass businesses, purchasing and distribution, and corporate marketing functions.

The company also named Pierre-Marie DeLeener to lead its global automotive refinish, protective and marine coatings, and aerospace businesses. He also will assume executive leadership responsibility for Latin America and will retain responsibility for the company’s global information technology function. Viktor Sekmakas will become senior vice president of industrial coatings and president of PPG Europe. He will assume leadership responsibility for Europe, the Middle East and Africa in addition to leading the global industrial coatings and packaging coatings businesses. Michael Horton will become president of PPG Asia Pacific and vice president for automotive refinish and architectural coatings for Asia Pacific.
