Indian company plans for a FYR Macedonian glass mirror and metal part manufacturing for auto industry

By signing contracts and placing a cornerstone in the technological-industrial development zone Skopje 1 today Indian company Samvardhana maderson began the realization of their investment in (FYR) Macedonia.Memorandum of Understanding and agreements to lease land and grant aid were signed by the president of the company Vivek Chaand Shangal and Managing Director for Europe Andreas Hojzek and directors of the Agency for Foreign Investments and the TIRZ Skopje 1, Viktor Mizo and Natasha Hadzhilega . The signing ceremony was also attended by  FYR Macedonia's Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, who previously met with representatives of the Indian company.It is planned to hold a ceremony of laying the cornerstone where the TIRZ should be built two manufacturing units of land with an area of ??2.7 hectares. In one building is planned to produce sheet metal parts for mirrors, and other glass mirrors for the automotive industry. New buildings should be ready within a year. The entire production will be destined for the European car manufacturers to get pre-finished mirrors mounted in the factory of the group in Hungary. The total investment is 12 million and it should provide jobs for 140 FYR Macedonian citizens.

So far in Skopje 1 TIRZ have invested U.S. "Johnson Controls" British "Johnson Matthey" Italian "Tehnokoze" American "Kemet Electronics" and Russian company "Prodis" part of the pharmaceutical holding "flow group" Source
