Since the acquisition of Somma & Maca in 2008, CRL have been developing the range of glass machinery with a particular focus to higher performance and specialist applications. The new RDM24 Rinse Dry Module from CRL Glass Machinery is one of the latest examples of this development and represents the ideal compact machine for the effective intermediate rinsing of glass, thin films, and solar panels. It can be used at almost any stage in a manufacturing process. Rinsing is performed by two pairs of jet spray pipes fed by a plant water source. A powerful high pressure blower blasts the panel dry and ready for the next process.
The standard conveyor speed is 2.5m per minute. Corrosion resistance is enhanced by adding stainless steel to the spray compartment walls, machine frame and roller bearings. Spray Bars are non-corrosive. All conveyor bearings are outside the wet zone area. The RDM24 accommodates product from 0.254 - 6.36mm thick. Panel sizes 50mm to 610mm wide by 152mm or longer can be processed. The footprint is extremely compact at just 914 x 940mm. Rinse Dry Modules are available in various conveyor widths to suit any process.
