Analysis: Soda Market of Shandong indicates Slightly Decline in the Past Three Quarters

（China Glass Network） Shandong Economic and Information Committee stated that capacity of soda ash accounted for 2.912 million tons, which drops 0.5% compared with last year. Average price of heavy alkali is 2300 RMB/ton with a decrease of 40% due to swift growth of alkali consumption.

It’s predicated that export situation of soda ash is not so optimistic affected by low cost of trona in foreign countries and appreciation of RMB in the near future. In addition, serious overcapacity of soda ash in our country will lead to a narrow range fluctuation in the fourth quarter 2011.
