Effective Jan. 1, 2012, DuPont Glass Laminating Solutions in Wilmington, Del., will implement a price increase of 6 percent for all DuPont™ Butacite®, Butacite® G, Spallshield®, The Wedge™ polyvinyl butyral (PVB) and SentryGlas® ionoplast products globally. This increase is in response to sustained high raw material and transportation costs.
"Raw material and transportation costs continue to escalate and are expected to climb further in 2012. In order for us to continue to provide our customers with the high-quality products and services they expect, we must pass on these additional costs,” says Stephen Cluff, global business director of Safety Glass, DuPont Glass Laminating Solutions.
DuPont Glass Laminating Solutions operates within the DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers business, part of the DuPont Performance Materials segment.
