OSHA cites Anchor Glass plant in Warner Robins, Ga. for violations after worker suffers burns

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — The

 

OSHA spokesman Mike Wald says the proposed penalties total $20,000.

 

Anchor Glass employee Jason Talton was injured in a flash fire early on July 20 at an outside propane filling station. The station is located where employees refuel tanks for forklifts.

 

Jeff Gordon, human resources manager for Anchor Glass, say company officials will meet with OSHA representatives.

 

Talton was treated at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta.
