Corning —Corning Museum of Glass has several events planned for the holidays.
From Dec. 26 to Dec. 31 the museum will feature live, narrated glass-blowing shows, as well as glass breaking and flame working demonstrations.
Museum attendees may submit a design for the glass blowers to create from start to finish during a live show.
Every day from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. the museum conducts Family Hidden Treasure tours. From noon to 4 p.m. every day kids will have the chance to make crafts including fused bead suncatchers, rubbings, mosaics and snowflakes.
The GlassMarket inside the museum will also feature post-holiday deals on merchandise.
Youth 19 and under receive free admission to the museum for the holidays. The museum is open every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is located at 1 Museum Way in Corning.
