Overland will continue to supply its existing customer base from Fremont as a part of Amesbury Hardware Products. Further benefits are expected to accrue from Amesbury's strong customer relationships and sales structure in the United States and potential synergies with other Amesbury facilities, according to the release. Bill Ekeler, former CEO of Overland, will become general manager of the Overland business. "The acquisition of Overland's product range and expertise in metal stamping is an exciting opportunity to return to Amesbury's strategy of acquiring well run companies that expand our product offering and capabilities within the fenestration industry," Jonathan Petromelis, President and CEO, said in the release.
