Auto Glass Franchise Companies Rank on Franchise 500 List

Several auto glass companies have been recognized with rankings on the 2012 Franchise 500 list, compiled by Entrepreneur magazine.

Savage, Minn.-based Novus Glass ranked at number 77 with 1,663 franchises.

Orlando, Fla.-based Superglass Windshield Repair ranked number 157 with 272 locations. In 2011, Superglass ranked number 161.

Waco, Texas-based Glass Doctor ranked number 163 with 191 locations. Glass Doctor ranked number 167 in 2011.

The Franchise 500 list is created based on a number of factors, including financial strength and stability, growth rate and size of the company's franchising system, according to Entrpreneur. The publication also considers the number of years a company has been in business, the amount of time that has passed since it began franchising, start-up costs, litigation, termination percentages and whether the company offers financing to its franchisees.
