New PV Project of 6000MW invested by Hefei City will be settled in Jiuquan

(China Glass Network ) Hefei is the famous PV city of Anhui Province, recently it has singed a cooperative agreement with Jiuquan City, Gansu Province for PV industry development. Hefei City

will invest in construction of a 6000MW PV Project in Jiuquan City during the “Twelfth Five-year Plan”, it will also select Jiuquan as the superior location for PV materials and equipment manufacturing enterprises.

Hefei City has formed a industry cluster with large scale, reasonable investment and perfect structure after years of development in PV industry. Along with the enter and garrison of famous PV giants including JASO, LDK Solar,3M etc, Hefei has become one of the first solar energy application development bases of China. The value of PV industry in Hefei is 30 billion RMB this year. It’s predicted that it will be more than 100 billion RMB in 2012. Jiuquan is one of the cities with adequate luminous energy, it owns a optothermal energy reserves of more than 2billionMW, exploit area of 50 thousand sq.km. The total installation of PV project in Jiuquan has reached 375MW by now.

It’s learned that LDK Solar, JASO and Hareon Solar will invest in PV projects of 2000MW in Jiuquan City respectively.
