Corning Museum of Glass details 2012 winter-spring activities

Corning —Corning Museum of Glass has several winter and spring activities planned, in addition to the daily glass-making demonstrations, hands-on experiences and other glass collections.

Corning Museum of Glass is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is $15 for adults, and free for kids and teens 19 and younger.

Activities include Founders of American Studio Glass exhibits featuring Harvey K. Littleton and Dominick Labino and more.

Studio and faculty presentations will take place every month.

February will feature film viewings, an exhibit for families to explore Egypt, and a Mardi Gras Snow Day glass exhibit.

An evening for educators will be presented in March as well as families explore Ireland exhibit, and spring break at the museum.

May will feature the annual student art show, Glassfest exhibit, and the opening of "The Flood of '72: Community, Collections, and Conservation" exhibit.
