Fire, wine heat up Museum of Glass

Corning Museum of Glass is hosting 2300: Fire and Wine at 5:30 p.m. Thursday Jan. 19, a free event with numerous activities.

Anne Gant will present a glass-making showing. Gant will use hot glass to make prints and drawings on paper.

The Weber Brothers will present live entertainment at the event.

Twenty-five Finger Lakes region wineries will be on hand to provide free wine tasting, with hors d'oeuvres.

A shuttle service from the museum's I-86 parking lot will be available. The Corning Museum of Glass, at 1 Museum Way, is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
