Tight Supply of Natural Gas Restricted Soda Production in the Southwest of China

(China Glass Network)As the natural gas supply is tight, the soda production is restricted obviously in Southwest of China. Now it exists enterprises underemployment and scare supply. The factory price of light soda is about RMB1680 per ton, dense soda is about RMB1800 per ton. But the holiday is coming, downstream demand is limited. Sichuan market is stable, and obvious fluctuations of price hasn’t emerged. Now local factory price of light soda is about RMB 1600-1650 per ton, price of dense soda is about RMB1700-1800 per ton.

Near the end of the year, natural gas supply is more tense, most enterprises decreased operation to 50%. And the natural gas will be supplied in turn, many enterprises stop production to do examination and repair. Although the production is gradually reduced, the sluggish downstream market restricts the price to rise. It is predicted that soda price of Sichuan will stay low.
