Xinyi Glass Held South China Float Glass Market Seminar

(China Glass Network) The South China Float Glass Market Seminar was held at Dongguan Lung Chuen International Hotel on Jan.31, 2012. The participants included Guangdong sheet glass manufacturers, Zhangzhou Kibing Glass and China Aviation Sanxin Company (CAS) etc. The meeting was convened by Xinyi Glass Holdings Limited.

The meeting made in-depth discussions about market situation of South China at present. Most representatives of enterprises thought that sheet glass industry appeared serious losses since the second half of last year, which leaded excess capacity and cost pressure currently. The meeting decided manufacturers could raise prices on basis of individual conditions, take effective action to reduce losses.

At the meeting, enterprise delegates were full of confidence in the outlook of float glass market. They also were optimistic about prospective situation, demand and supply.

The seminar was an important information exchange following the first South China Seminar on Jan.16, creating favorable conditions for South China market this year. Meanwhile, it played a positive significance on promoting national market.
