Corning Museum of Glass offers winter break activities for students

The Corning Museum of Glass, One Museum Way, is offering special winter break activities free of charge for children and teens during the winter break from Feb. 17-25.

Activities, exclusive to the break, include family hidden treasure tours and craft projects. There also will be glass-blowing, flame-working and glass breaking, glass design and being a glass detective. You can also make your own glass for an additional fee.

The Museum features a kid-friendly mobile app that can be downloaded from the iTunes or Android markets. You can also rent an iPod Touch at the admissions desk of the museum with the app built in.
