Director of AVIC Basic Technology Research Institute Made an on-the-spot Investigation of Daya Bay Production Base

(China Glass Network) Director of AVIC Basic Technology Research Institute, Li Xiaohong made an on-the-spot investigation in Daya Bay Production Base of AVIC Group, accompanied by President Han Pingyuan, according to news release from the company.

AVIC Basic Technology Research Institute is directly subordinate to AVIC Group and it’s the national key scientific research institutions. It has jurisdiction over more than ten research institutions including Beijing Aviation Materials Research Institute, which has established development cooperation with Sanxin Glass in aircraft coating and glass.

Director Li visited the research activities building of the production base and learned the progress of glass progressing, he also visited chemical tempered workshop and equipments to acknowledge production flow and operations. After listening to the report by President Han about manufacturing process of C919 plane windshield, Director Li gave high evaluation and full affirmation to work of Sanxin Glass and expressed appreciation to their effort to development of aeronautical material.

Director Li said that Sanxin Glass and Aviation Materials Research Institute are both member units and main development body of new material in Catic Industrial, he hope the both sides carry out comprehensive cooperation in aircraft coating and glass to achieve mutual benefit.
