JN Phillips Auto Glass announced the expansion of its facilities in Western Massachusetts with three new locations. The company will be opening a new 7,500 square foot distribution center in Chicopee, a Springfield service center and relocating its Northampton service center.
“There are almost 700,000 people in the greater Springfield market,” says Robert Rosenfield, CEO of JN Phillips Auto Glass. “That is a large population base and a lot of vehicles and a lot of road conditions that create broken glass and we wanted to be able to get people in that market the high level of service that we are accustomed to giving.”
The new Northampton store was relocated to 144 King Street to be closer to downtown. This location offers customers more benefits such as free Wi-Fi, closer proximity to shopping and easier access from the highway and other main roads.
“Our facility in Northampton is a block from the center of town with excellent walking access to a variety of restaurants and coffee shops and retail shopping for customers who choose to drop off vehicle and wait for a repair,” says Rosenfield.
Over the next year, JN Phillips Auto Glass has plans to continue to expand in a variety of ways.
“We are very focused on providing service to customers when and where they would like it,” says Rosenfield. “We will continue to look at expanding locations, growing our mobile fleet and applying technology to make us even better at meeting customers’ needs on their terms. In six weeks we will be rolling out an android application for all of our field service technicians. It will allow for electronic signature capture so when the customer signs off on an insurance claim it will be done right then and there. The device will have a camera to take photos of damage or other conditions on the vehicle that are appropriately documented.”
