Two operators of a Louisiana windshield repair and replacement business are under arrest for 24 counts each of alleged insurance fraud. Stephen Sanderson, 52, and Sherry Williams, 46, run an auto glass business in the Ouachita Parish. At press time the business' name had not been released.

Louisiana Farm Bureau Insurance reported more than 80 alleged fraudulent claims that were submitted to the insurance company between 2006 and 2010. State Farm has also alleged insurance fraud from the auto glass business in 2010.

“The business repaired rock pecks on a customer’s windshield and billed the insurance company for a glass replacement. In cases where a windshield was replaced, they billed the insurance companies for more expensive glass items and other services that were not performed,” read a press release from the Louisiana State Police.

Both Williams and Sanderson were each charged with 24 counts of insurance fraud and are currently being held at the Ouachita Correctional Center with bond set at $36,000 each.
