“Kelly Green, the owner of California Glass Bending, has been in the industry for many years and now has the opportunity to take life a little easier. Our two companies have long worked together on many projects. The synergy of the two facilities makes this acquisition a natural step for all parties concerned,” said Bernard Lax, CEO of Pulp Studio, in the release. The acquisition of California Glass Bending will enable the Pulp Studio and California Glass Bending facilities to be more integrated and offer a wider range of products, according to the release. There will be no immediate change in how the facilities operate, and customers of both facilities will not experience any changes either. No employees will be affected in the transition, which will likely require the hiring of additional employees over the coming months, according to Pulp Studio officials. The addition of the California Glass Bending facility, as well as the expansion of one of Pulp’s facilities, will give Pulp Studio a total of just over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space and close to 100 employees.
