Xinyi Glass will Larger Yield this Year

(China Glass Network) The market regulation of property in mainland has caused reducing demand of building glass recently. However, CEO of Xinyi Glass said that stimulating the use of indemnificatory housing may counteract the reducing demand.

Area of the unfinished residential construction is about 5.1 billion m2, it’s expected that annual demand of float glass will be 50 million tons in the next four years while capacity of the industry is only 36 million tons now.

It’s known that the orders received by Xinyi Glass have been full in the first half year. The company also indicates to increase capacity 20% of the building glass this year while auto glass of 10%-20%.
