Bob Leyland began his career with Kawneer in 1975 after graduating with a degree in marketing from Michigan State University. He started with the organization as a sales trainee in the Niles, Mich., headquarters and was quickly assigned to the Cincinnati, Ohio territory. Leyland returned to Niles in 1980, where he served as a national account manager and then as the product manager for storefront, entrances and framing. He moved to Southern California in 1984, where he served as the district sales manager until 1994. He then moved to Norcross, Ga., to serve as the senior product manager for storefront, entrances and framing. Leyland was named director of marketing in 1996, and then assumed executive leadership of the sales and marketing organizations in 1999. He has continued to lead the North American sales organization since 2004.

Colin Brosmer joined Kawneer parent company, Alcoa, in 2001 as a welding engineer for Alcoa Automotive and was named manufacturing project manager for Kawneer in 2006. Prior to his current role, he also served as Kawneer regional sales manager, Central Canada, and commercial business manager for curtain wall.

“Bob is a respected leader both internally and externally, and he has had a tremendous impact on the growth and development of the Kawneer brand in the marketplace. We thank him for his countless contributions to the company," said Diana Perreiah, vice president, Alcoa Building and Construction Systems, and general manager, Kawneer North America, in the April 18 announcement

“Colin has demonstrated growth, responsibility, leadership and a commitment to both Alcoa and Kawneer ideals during his tenure with the company," she continued. "Colin will work closely with Bob over the coming months to ensure a smooth transition for both our customers and the sales organization.”
