“The World Longest Glass Bridge”of Zhangjiajie or to Open to Public Next Year

(China Glass Network) You may think of the Colorado Canyon of the U.S speaking of glass bridge. Not everyone has the chance to visit it, however you can go to the glass bridge not bad than it located in Zhangjiajie next year. The “The World Longest Glass Bridge” located in Zhangjiajie,  Hunan  Province and “The first Bungee Jumping experience Center ” has singed formal contract on the Tourism investment cooperation meeting of Central China Expo, which was held on May 18, 2012. It’s expected  that the experience center will be opened to the public next year and become another “Wonder of the world” owned by Hunan Province.

The glass bridge located in Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon scenic spot is designed by world famous designers Haim Dotan, who has designed Israel Pavilion of EXPO. The bridge will be the highest glass bridge with longest span all over the world. The bridge will be constructed between the summit of both sides of the grand canyon, crossing the grand canyon. Relative altitude of the distance of bridge arch and valley bottom is about 400m and the total length of the bridge is 370m. The over all bridge floor will be laid with transparent glass and there is the highest Bungee Jumping of the world in the center of the bridge.
