The largest PV Power Project in Jilin Approved

(China Glass Network) Taonan Quansheng Solar Power Co., Ltd is designed by Jilin Electric Power Survey and Design Institute of China Power Construction Corporation, whose feasibility study report about 49.914MVP PV Grid Power Projects has approved by the Jilin Energy Bureau. Before the approval, the project has completed and passed the water protection testing, the environment testing, the energy audit, and the access plan.

It is reported; Taonan City is one of the most abundant of solar energy regions in China, with the annual average radiant quantity of 5189.7MJ/m² and average annual sunshine hours of 2907.9h. The project, invested by Inner Mongolia Road Group Co., LTD, locates in the south-west region 13 kilometer away from Taonan City and covers an area of 50 hm². With the capacity of 49.914MVP, it becomes the largest PV project in Jilin.

It will be a good model for the implementation of follow-up PV power projects because it takes a good advantage of the solar energy, and speeds up the development of photovoltaic power generation. The project not only corresponds to national policy of multi-energy complement, but also corresponds to the long-term plan of Jilin’s construction of ecological province.
