Zhejiang Daming Glass Become the Only Domestic Supplier of Reflecting Mirror for CGNP Solar-thermal Power Generation Project

(China Glass Network) Zhejiang Daming Glass Co., Ltd(hereinafter referred to as Daming) has won the public bidding of reflecting mirror by the solar-thermal power generation technology test base located in Delingha, Qinghai Province and become the only domestic supplier of reflecting mirror for solar-thermal power generation.

The 50MW solar-thermal power generation project in construction invested by CGNP with total amount of 2.5 billion RMB is the first solar-thermal power project of Qinghai Province, which has been listed as scientific support project by Qinghai Science and Technology Agency and gained substantial support from National Energy Administration. First phase of the project covers an area of 216 mu with total budget investment of 62.094 million RMB, 1.6MW oil heat test circuits of trench type and Fresnel type, a heat storing system of 10000KW, a steam-generating system of 4MW and corresponding auxiliary facilities are to be built in the project, which is expected to be completed by the end of year 2012.

Daming Glass is the most professional supplier of solar reflecting mirror in China, the trench -type, tower-type and Fresnel type reflecting mirror produced by Daming have passed test of European third party inspection agency and are all accord with the EU standard. According to statistics, reflectivity of the Daming reflecting mirror is more than 93.5%, with excellent resist of corrosion, impact and climatic change, the mirror can be used in hostile outdoor environment for over twenty years.
