The Situation of Glass Industry

(China Glass Network) Up to July 30, China Glass Composite Index was 1059.65, dropped 1.88 percent than June, but still higher than March and April. The price of normal flat glass on July remained stable. And the price of float glass kept ups and downs. On June, the growth speed of domestic flat glass production is negative 16 percent comparing with the same period of last year. Meanwhile, the production of float glass also dropped down, and the sales-output ratio is only 97.26 percent. The whole stock of 272 domestic float glass production lines is only 27.12 million weight case, 0.11 percent higher than the last month.  The stock added 25.95 percent. There will not appear boost increase in short term. The trend of glass price will remain steady. We should pay close attention to the demand change.
