Domestic PV Enterprises Expand into New Photovoltaic Market

(China Glass Network) Anti-dumping investigation issued by EU on Chinese PV products can’t stop the pace of Chinese enterprises to enter into PV market of the Europe. The largest private clean energy enterprise, Hanergy Holdings Group has announced to sell small solar power system solutions to European families via retail outlet of IKEA.

Most of the products that involved in anti-dumping investigation are polycrystalline silicon products, which is the first generation products of PV industry. The thin film launched by Hanergy in European market is the second generation product of PV industry.

Officials of Hanergy Holdings Group said that the cooperation with IKEA is an excellent application for innovative solar system solutions of the group. Zhou Jiesan, CEO of Hanergy Global Investment and Sales Company said in a news release that the new products to be sold in European market is mainly for local residents, IKEA is the largest household retailer all over the world and it has sent more than 70 thousand recommend mails to its local member.

EU Market occupies more than 60% of the total PV products exported by China, which is the largest overseas market for Chinese PV enterprises. After EU issued anti-dumping investigation on Chinese PV products, most of the Chinese PV enterprises star looking for new ways to expand into New PV Market.
